What is the Six Bricks Programme?

The Six Bricks method offers a creative and tactile approach to learning, using LEGO DUPLO bricks in six specific colours. It incorporates over 500 activities that can align with any educational curriculum. Through colourful bricks and purposeful play, the programme encourages children to move, think critically, and build memory skills in an engaging, supportive environment.
How Does Six Bricks Work?
Each child uses their own set of DUPLO bricks. Activities can be selected at any time, allowing flexibility and creativity in choosing activities that suit the group or individual’s needs. Starting with simple exercises that introduce children to the bricks, they gradually move on to more advanced challenges that build teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Duration: Activities range from as short as 5 minutes to up to 40 minutes, depending on the focus.
Benefits of the Six Bricks Programme
The programme is ideal for children aged 3 to 7, but can be adapted for older children, including those with special educational needs. Here are some key areas it supports:

Encourages children to describe details, follow instructions, express ideas, and tell stories, building communication skills.
Problem-Solving
Through engaging activities, children learn to focus, set goals, think creatively, and reflect on their actions.
Collaboration
Group activities foster teamwork, turn-taking, sharing, and leadership skills, as children work together and learn from each other.
